The third of three watercolors from the balcony overlooking the Atlantic at Rodanthe. This day was storming and I had to push further back inside so the spray wouldn't hit my painting. I incorporated more of the architecture and also some of the deck furniture. Darker palette in the sky with sheets of rain, but the ocean remained crispy blues and greens.
