The second spring watercolor made from my good friend's deck looking back towards Lock Haven, PA along the Susquehanna river. Similar composition as the first one, but having been there once before I was able to simplify a bit more. That and the fact that it was showering intermittently made me work a bit quicker and looser. Just a different approach to the same subject. As the rain came and went the cardinals would appear and disappear in and out of the trees. As the sun returned I could see their wings were wet and they glistened as they swooped in and out of sight.
