Part of the reason behind this series is to go out to places that are so familiar to me that I don't see them anymore. By physically going out to paint and sit and observe for a few hours I begin to appreciate my surroundings with fresh eyes. This watercolor was created near the boat launch in Mill Hall on Bald Eagle Creek. I've passed it a million times and when I was younger I fished there. Very rewarding to slow down and reinterpret a location I had begun to take for granted.
